FREE CANCER SUPPORT GROUPS
AT GILDA’S CLUB

we welcome anyone impacted by cancer to join our support groups.

We understand that a cancer diagnosis or losing a loved one can make you feel isolated. That’s why our free cancer support groups are here to build a community where you can connect with others who truly understand what you’re going through. Sharing your experiences and feelings in a safe and caring environment can bring comfort, ease feelings of loneliness, and enhance your mental well-being.

If you need childcare, just give us a heads up at least 48 hours in advance. We’d love to arrange for trained volunteers to provide fun and supervised play for your little ones while you attend the group. The earlier you let us know, the better we can accommodate your needs.

Regardless of Your Relationship with Cancer

we have a group that fits your needs

Whether you’re currently undergoing treatment, caring for someone who is, in remission, or have recently lost someone to cancer, we have a free cancer support group that fits your needs. For those in active treatment, our support groups offer a safe place to express the emotional and physical challenges you face. It’s common to feel anxiety, fear, or uncertainty about the future, and our community is here to help you work through those feelings alongside people who truly get it.

If you’re in remission, our groups can support you as you navigate life after a cancer diagnosis and the changes that come with it.

For those who are grieving, our bereavement group is a space where you can process your feelings in the company of others who have experienced similar losses. It’s a place to remember, share stories, and express emotions with people who understand your pain. Here, you’ll also find comfort and hope for the future.

All of our support groups are led by licensed mental health professionals, including Licensed Clinical Social Workers and qualified art therapists, with the help of dedicated students in the field.

We meet in the evenings, and we even provide dinner before each group! If you’re ready to join, you’ll just need to fill out a short form, and our friendly staff will reach out to ensure you’re placed in the right group for your needs.
