El poder de conocerse a uno mismo/The Power of Knowing Yourself

Category: Adult Lifestyle Activity

Location: Lisa's Room

This program is designed to guide you through truly knowing yourself by helping you better understand your emotions, thoughts, wounds, and true needs. As you build self-awareness, you will learn to live with greater authenticity and freedom, moving away from fear and the need for external approval. By the end, you will be more equipped to accept yourself, heal, make aligned decisions, and create a life rooted in clarity and inner peace. IN PERSON @ GRINSTEAD

This National Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, we This National Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, we’re honoring the Turner family.

When 6 year old David Jr. was diagnosed with DIPG (a rare childhood brain cancer), his family found comfort, connection and joy through Camp Gilda and events at Gilda’s Club Kentuckiana.

David Jr. taught his family to "Make Every Day the Best Day Ever," a message that inspired Governor Andy Beshear to proclaim May 21st as official 'David Jr. Ice Cream Day' in Kentucky🍨

Today, Liz and David Sr. return to Gilda’s Club to serve ice cream, support families and ensure no pediatric cancer family ever walks through diagnosis or grief alone.💛

I didn't choose to get cancer; it chose me. At Gilda's, I've learned that cancer doesn't define who I am, what I can do, or how to live my life. I'm still in charge of me as I walk this journey learning to live with cancer, and not for cancer.
- Denise
