LIVING THROUGH LOSS

Gilda’s Club offers support groups for those who have lost a loved one to cancer.

Living through Loss support groups can help lessen feelings of isolation and loneliness and provide a space to cope with grief – a place to share stories, grieve together, and take steps toward healing.

If you’re looking for comfort and connection, the Living through Loss group meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month from 6:30 to 8:00pm, with dinner served beforehand at 5:45pm. We’d love to see you there!

Grief is a journey and it’s important to recognize that while everyone in a bereavement support group shares the experience of loss, each person’s way of coping is unique. Being part of a support group not only allows you to hear how others handle their pain, but also gives you a chance to discover new ways to cope with your own feelings.

Gilda’s Club offers bereavement support tailored for different kinds of loss, whether it’s a spouse, a child, a parent, a friend, or children and teens dealing with general loss due to cancer. We know grieving doesn’t have a set timeline, so if your loss happened five years ago or longer, we have a support group for you as well. Connection and support can make a meaningful difference, so join us!

Individual Counseling

Counseling is a powerful tool for learning coping skills and for healing. We offer is short-term individual, family or couples counseling for anyone directly impacted by cancer.
